JOBSNAVIGATOR services clients across industries, sourcing the best suitable Human Capital possible, by vigorous research conducted on the client's niche line of business. After exploring the client's branding and USP, and understanding the specifications of each job roles, the candidates profiles are shared.
Prima-facie, our executive search process might resemble others. However, our clients usually discover the experience of working with JOBSNAVIGATOR to be more positive and entrust us with repeat assignments maintaining long term beneficial association.
Orientation & Need Assessment
The first step in the search process involves extensive discussions/ meeting with the client to understand their organization, its scope of operations and structure, employee strength and orientation, business strategy and work culture. We will understand the reporting structure and target compensation levels, after benchmarking with industry. Keeping in mind the orientation, our consultants will work in close partnership with the clients’, to finalize appropriate Job Descriptions and candidate profiles. If there are any immediate positions, we will understand the profile of the candidates, the qualifications and personal attributes required to be able to be successfully absorbed in the organization.
Strategy Development & First Shortlisting
We will work closely with the client to define the role and responsibility areas, and articulate the relevant qualifications, skills, experience and competencies required in the candidate. Our engagement team will establish a search strategy to effectively target desired candidates. We will develop a target list of appropriate industries, and/or companies and identify levels within those companies that we should tap. We employ a broad network of resources and experience — including databases, investigative research, and Internet portals as well as advertisements, wherever required, to get the range of candidates. We then contact all the prospective profiles, and appraise each against the position and its specifications.
Evaluation & Screening
Once we have determined a mutual interest in pursuing specific candidates, we will approach and brief candidates on the opportunity and elicit their interest in the position. It involves an in-depth discussion with the candidates to determine their skills and knowledge base, experience, career aspirations and the fitment of the candidate in the prospective organization. Based on the feedback, the consultants then screen and engage with only suitable candidates and evaluate a possible match between the company and the assignment to them.
Recommendation & Interviews
A list of final shortlisted candidates is prepared and a report on each shortlisted candidate is prepared for the client prior to the arrangement of interviews. We provide them with an introspective analysis of highlighting the candidate's strengths and ability to fit in the new job role. This detailed candidate mapping along with an assigned internal grading, benefit the clients to on-board the most suitable candidate. We then coordinate with the client to facilitate an interaction/ interview with the lined-up candidates (sometimes arranging for tele/video-conferencing in addition to direct meetings for inter-city and cross-border candidates).
Refrencing
If required by our clients, sometimes for top-notch positions, we will conduct detailed referencing on selected candidate(s) which the company wish to hire, before the offer is formally extended. This will include contacting formal references as well as other relevant contacts, for an overall discreet perspective. Detailed comprehensive references would ensure full transparency and due diligence.
Closure
Regular contact and feedback is essential to sustain momentum towards completing the search in a timely manner. Since our consultants invest in relationship with candidates through every step of the search process, they are better positioned to be able to monitor and address the concerns about the job or the practical and personal aspects of transitioning as they arise, minimizing barriers to closure at the final stage of a search.
We will ascertain the final candidate's compensation expectations and if need be, assist the client in completing the hiring arrangements and providing pre and post appointment support. However, the final hiring decision and the compensation rolled-out will be made by the client with support from us, wherever required.
Long Term Relationship
Once a candidate has come on board, we will keep in touch with the new hire, to ensure successful on-boarding and a smooth transition. Regular interactions with them at different intervals strengthens the bond and establishes a long-term outlook toward clients and candidates relationship.
